Latinx and Latin American Studies Minor

Content

The Latinx and Latin American Studies minor focuses on Chicanos / Latinos in the United States and offers a unique perspective on people of Latin American origin or descent. This minor is part of our Latin American Studies program which provides a basis to seek employment with government agencies and private enterprises with operations in Latin America. You can also undertake graduate study with an emphasis in this region.

Experiences and Opportunities

Join the Mexican American Student Association (MASA) which promotes cultural, social and academic events designed to celebrate all Latino cultures. MASA supports Fiesta on the Green and hosts the MASA Youth Latino
Leadership Conference.
