The Husker DNA Journey, led by Lory Dance, associate professor of sociology and ethnic studies, brought a diverse group of Husker undergraduates together to take a DNA ancestry test and share their stories. The project was aimed at breaking down barriers and helping students better understand and discuss commonalities while recognizing unique backgrounds.

The Husker DNA Journey, which took its inspiration and objectives from a documentary called the DNA Journey, is featured on the University of Nebraska's "Diversity, Access & Inclusion" web page under "Diversity Highlights".
